Q: What are Forrest Echo pads made of?

A: All of our pads are made with a soft, stay-dry athletic wicking jersey top, an ultra-absorbent hemp core, and a water resistant backing with imitation silicone grip dots to help prevent slipping. No harsh chemicals—just cozy, reusable comfort.

Q: How absorbent are the re-useable pads compared to disposable menstrual pads?

A: Re-usable pads can hold 12-15x as much blood as disposable pads or tampons.

Q: How many layers of absorbency do your pads have?

A: • Medium & Large Pads: 3 layers of hemp • XL & Overnight Pads: 4 layers of hemp All pads are designed for reliable protection you can feel good about.

Q: What size pad should I choose?

A: It depends on your flow and needs: • Medium – Great for light to moderate flow or daytime use • Large – Slightly longer for moderate to heavy flow • XL – Best for heavy flow or longer wear • Overnight/Postpartum – Maximum coverage and absorbency.

Q: How do I wash cloth pads?

A: - 1. Rinse or soak in cold water after use (optional but helps alot). 
2. Toss in the washing machine with your regular laundry.
3. Use a mild detergent, no fabric softener.
4. Air dry or tumble dry low.

Care & Cleaning

Q: Will the pads stain?

A: Our blue athletic jersey tops are stain-resistant and wash up beautifully. Rinsing after use helps, but even without it, they’re easy to keep looking great.

Q: Can I use bleach or vinegar to disinfect them?

A: We don’t recommend bleach on a regular basis—it can break down the fibers. Stick to gentle, fragrance free detergents. Vinegar in moderation is okay if needed.

Q: Are Forrest Echo pads suitable for light incontinence?

A: Yes absolutely, our pads aren't just for periods, but light bladder leaks or incontinence too!

Q: Can I use Forrest Echo pads overnight?

A: You absolutely can, our XL & Post Partum / Overnight pads work wonderfully for this purpose.

Q: Do you offer free shipping?

Q: When will my order ship?

A: Orders are typically packed and shipped within 1-2 business days. You’ll receive a tracking number as soon as your order is packed & labeled!

Q: Do you ship internationally?

A: Yes, but unfortunately we do not offer free shipping outside of the US.

Returns & Exchanges

 

Q: Can I return or exchange my pads?

A: Due to the nature of personal care items, we’re unable to accept returns on washed or used pads. However, if there’s a problem with your order or a defect, please contact us, we want you to love your purchase and we’ll make it right. 

Q: Are cloth pads bulky or uncomfortable?

A: Not at all! Forrest Echo pads are slim, breathable, and designed to move with you. The grippy backing keeps them in place without feeling stiff or heavy. 

Q: Can teens or first-time users wear these?

A: Absolutely! They’re soft, discreet, and much gentler than disposables. Many teens find them more comfortable, especially during school or sleep.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Q: Do I need to soak them before washing?

A: No soaking is necessary, but it can help reduce staining. You can rinse or toss them straight into your laundry bag or wet bag until wash day.

Q: Can I use the dryer?

A: Yes! Tumble dry low is fine. Air drying will extend the life of the pads but isn’t required.

Q: Do they smell?

A: Not if cleaned properly. Unlike disposables, cloth pads allow your flow to breathe, which actually reduces odor. Just wash regularly and store in a breathable wet bag or container.

Q: Can I use cloth pads postpartum or for bladder leaks?

A: Yes! Our Overnight/Postpartum size was created for both postpartum bleeding and light bladder leaks. Hemp is highly absorbent and breathable—perfect for sensitive skin and heavy days.
